What to do During Times of Uncertainty

Author: George Haralampopoulos

Category: Influential Leadership

There are three guiding Principles that can be help us navigate through periods of crisis and uncertainty: Calmness, Adaptability and Focused Action.

Calmness keeps our goals vivid and compelling – even if we need to re-evaluate and adjust them. It also allows the creative and problem-solving part of our brain to seek out solutions and new paths that will help us stay on a positive trajectory.

Adaptability is our openness and willingness to try different ways to move towards the results that we are seeking while celebrating even the smallest of wins. These new paths are often revealed to us through the creative, problem-solving part of our brain and our intuition.

Focused Action is tracking our progress, following through with all important daily activities, responsibly, while doing our best to manage urgent issues. Focused Action also helps to reduce stress, worry and leads closer to a state of emotional balance.
